Notice from Stagecoach
Following the government advice to limit non-essential travel and avoid office, pubs and social gatherings; we’re sad to say we’ve had to make further reductions.
Revised timetables will be in place from Thursday 2 April 2020 for the Babraham Park & Ride service. This is being kept running to take people to Addenbrookes. The #13 bus is also being diverted into the Babraham P&R for some evening journeys.
- Monday – Friday buses will run every half an hour in the AM and PM peaks and hourly throughout the day. We will be diverting the 13 service into the Babraham Park & Ride for some PM journeys.
- Saturday – Sunday there will be no Babraham Park & Ride services, as an alternative we will be diverting the 13 service into the Babraham Park & Ride.
The following Cambridge Park & Ride services will be suspended from Thursday 2 April until further notice:
- Madingley Park and Ride
- Newmarket Park and Ride
- Trumpington Park and Ride
- Milton Park and Ride
X5 Service Update Thursday 2 April 2020
- Further revised timetables will be in place from Thursday 2 April 2020; these temporary timetables will operate across Bedfordshire until further notice.
- The timetables have been carefully created to ensure that critical routes are maintained wherever possible.
- Monday – Sunday buses will now only run between Cambridge and Milton Keynes Rail Station every hour between 07:30 and 19:30.
- As an alternative you can catch the S5 between Bicester and Oxford or 505 Brackley and Bicester.
We’ve made some changes to the start and end points of some journeys:
- Monday – Friday 06:05 bus from Cambridge towards Bedford will start at Bedford.
- Monday – Friday 06:28 bus from Milton Keynes towards Cambridge will start at Bedford.
- Sunday – Saturday the 19:05 and 20:05 buses from Cambridge towards Milton Keynes will terminate at Bedford.
We’re sad to say we’ve had to withdraw some journeys:
- Monday – Saturday 04:27 and 05:27 buses from Bedford towards Milton Keynes.
- Monday – Friday 04:32 bus from Bedford towards Cambridge.
- Sunday 05:27 and 06:27 buses from Bedford towards Milton Keynes.
- Sunday – Saturday 20:28 bus from Milton Keynes towards Bedford.
