Greater Cambridge Partnership Transport Consultation

Regretfully this information arrived too late to be included in the Village Voice.

The Greater Cambridge Partnership are currently consulting on proposals for greener travel in and around the city of Cambridge. The proposals can be seen and commented upon here – https://consultcambs.uk.engagementhq.com/making-connections-2021 – interestingly, for those villages off the A1307, there is a proposal for a new, more regular, bus service that serves the smaller more rural villages. Please look carefully at these proposals and ask yourselves if it is better than the service we currently have? The proposal would mean a regular shuttle bus to a new transport hub near the A1307/A11 junction. If you wish to travel to Linton or Haverhill you would need to change to a different bus whereas currently you can travel to/from these destinations on a single bus. Please make your views known.
